The Maugean skate lives in the waters of Tasmania and is becoming increasingly endangered due to Salmon farming. I used to swim in these waters and was overjoyed to see the local skate bobbing up and swimming around us. Now we don’t swim for fear of salmon farm pollution. It is very sad.
